Maston Spends the Week

Maston came to town for a week long visit. Something we get to do when school is out. He got here on June 22 and stayed until the 29th. We divided our time between the Wii, the pool and the movie theater. The kids all had a great time, although the age difference is getting more obvious with each year. Maston wants to do more grown things and Judson and Ryann just want him to play with them and do younger kid things. At the end of the week my cousin, Nicholas, came over from Thursday night until Saturday afternoon. He was a welcome addition and Maston thinks it's very cool to get to hang out with a big kid like Nich. We spent most of Friday at the pool and then Saturday we got up, played around the house for a few hours. We picked up Ryann, who had spent a special night at Grandma and Grandpa Risch's house, and then went to Wendy's for lunch. Next was the movie theater. The kids have been dying to go see Wall-E, the newest Disney movie. It was really cute! The kids loved it and they're making animated movies enjoyable for parents now too, which is great. Sunday was church in the AM and then after lunch Todd brought Maston back to meet up with his grandparents who were taking him back home. The kids already miss him and are counting down the day until he returns.
