Can you believe it? Judson turned 8 this past Saturday! It was a pretty low key day, but had fun celebrating with family. He started the day by opening his 3 cards he had gotten in the mail from Nana and Papa Sloan, Uncle Jason and Aunt Shelly, and great Uncle John and great Aunt Sheila. Each one contained a gift card, which he was SOOO excited about! They were burning holes in his pockets until daddy and Ryann took him to cash them in. He came home with a bag full of toys and a big smile on his face!
In the afternoon we met up with cousins Walker and Fletcher and Grandpa Risch to see the new 3D movie "Mars Needs Moms". It was a great movie with a great message about loving and obeying your mom. I loved it! :)
After the movie we met up with the rest of the family for dinner at Qdoba and then on to the house for ice cream sundaes. Judson's not a big cake eater and who doesn't love an ice cream sundae?! He ended the night with opening more gifts and getting his new skateboard. He's been waiting for it to come for over a week. He picked it out from a site online when Maston was ordering one. He's super excited about it, and mommy's working on being excited for him.
