This past Friday night the kids and I, along with Grandma Risch, headed to Danville, VA to help celebrate my nephew Fletcher's 3rd birthday. It was a late night Friday getting everything ready for the party the next day, but everything turned out great. The theme was a "Rock Star". Fletcher loves all things music and especially playing guitar with his daddy. The party kicked off with a few songs from the band, which included Fletcher's rockin' guitar skills. It was so cute! Lunch was served after the entertainment and we all stuffed ourselves with with an awesome meal. When we were all full we moved on to presents. Fletcher was so cute. He was acting so shy up on the stage opening all of his gifts, but he'd sneak in little sly smiles every now and then. Finally it was cake time. Lisa made and decorated an awesome guitar cake and "microphone" cupcakes baked in ice cream cones for the kids. The black frosting was a messy hit and the cake was sooo good. It was a successful party! Great job Lisa and "Happy Birthday Fletcher!!"
