Nana and Papa come to town!

This past Sunday evening Nana and Papa Sloan came for a visit. We had a great time with them. Papa had to work during the days, but that left time for Nana to spoil the kids all by herself. On Monday we went to one of my favorite places, Target. The kids were each promised one toy so the whole trip was spent asking when we could look at the toys. We took them through the Christmas section, which about killed me. They wanted to look, touch and play with EVERYTHING. I have to admit, I wanted to do the same. I love this time of year! After picking out their toys we had pizza in the little pizza hut they have right in Target. How convenient! After dinner Todd and Judson showed off thier skills playing games on the Wii. Judson has so much fun and he's hysterical to watch. He's really good too! We can't believe it. He puts Todd to shame in both golf and boxing.
Tuesday we took the kids down to the park for a picnic. We have a great little park in our community with just enough stuff to keep them busy. We were only there for a few minutes when Ryann had a little accident and we had to make a quick trip back home. They had a great time play, and both took good naps too! Tuesday night Judson got to take a solo trip to Home Depot with Papa. They took a little detour on the way home for a couple of "danilla" ice cream cones. Gotta love that!
Wednesday we spent the morning relaxing at home before having to say good-bye. It's always sad to say when Nana and Papa go, but fortunately it won't be long before we can see them again for Christmas.
