This past Wednesday my Aunt Gwen and Uncle Greg came to Charlotte for a couple of days. They had been to the Biltmore in Asheville, NC and then were headed to Charleston, SC after a stop here. We loved having them around. Wednesday we spent the afternoon at mom and dad's and had a wonderful roast beef dinner that evening. It was great to catch up and I really enjoyed watching my kids play with their great aunt Gwen.
Thursday evening everyone came to our house for the evening. We had my best batch of chicken tortilla soup and mexican cornbread for dinner. Between the 6 of us we finished a crock-pot full. Yummy! After dinner Lisa, Joseph and the boys got here. They were coming into Charlotte for a friend's wedding Friday night. Since mom and dad's house was full they got to spend the night with us. The cousins had a great time playing together.
Greg and Gwen headed to Charleston on Friday morning, but we really enjoyed having them here. Hopefully we can get down to Florida to visit soon. Love you Gwen and Greg!!
