My uncle Dan flew into Charlotte for an long weekend. His flight got in shortly after 10:00 p.m. Thursday night, so since we live so close to the airport I went to pick him up, and he spent the night with us. Friday morning the kids got up and after a short "shy" period they had so much fun playing with the Great Uncle Dan. He played the Wii with them, ran around playing "fighting" and pushed them on the swings. They loved it!
My aunt Mary came to pick him up around lunch time, and he spent the rest of the weekend with them. We got in some good grilling time both Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
Lisa and the boys made a last minute trip to Charlotte as well on Saturday night. They got here around midnight, so Sunday was a lot of fun going to church together, catching up, eating (of course) and just hanging out together.
