Growing and Growing

Judson and Ryann had their yearly well-visits at the pediatrician today. Both are doing great! Pediatrician said hopefully Judson will grow out of the skin problems, but until then to try to keep on top of it. A trip to the dentist was recommended because Judson's bottom front permanent teeth are growing in behind the baby teeth instead of pushing the baby teeth out. This may involve pulling teeth. Ugh! Way to get them to fear the dentist right off the bat. Fingers crossed that this will not be necessary.
Here are their heights and weights with percentages. Pediatrician said we've got some fun genetics at work here. :)

Judson - 6 years old in less than 2 months.
Height - 43 1/2 (25-50%)
Weight - 36/6 (3%)

Ryann - 4 as of January 3rd
Height - 42 (95%)
Weight - 39 (outweighing her brother and at 75%)

We ended our visit with both kids needing shots. They were so brave. Judson had 2 and Ryann had 5. Judson was such a trooper. Didn't cry until the absolute last minute, but you could see on his face that he wanted to. Ryann got louder and louder with each one, as you can imagine. I had the fun job of holding her down, but she didn't really fight it. Mommy actually had tears in her eyes with this one. I'm glad it's over with.
At the end of the visit all was made better by "yelly pops" and books. If only all problems could be cured that easily!
